300 Hour Advanced YTT™ ONLINE + RETREAT

For taking your practice and your teaching to the next level through a deeper exploration of the key ingredients of profound teaching - holding space, responsive/adaptive teaching, hands on assisting and Thai Massage and how to lead students through emotional and energetic practice. This program has been crafted after years of working with and listening to the questions, needs and concerns of yoga teachers. One of Stefani's main intentions when she created this program in 2011, was to support teachers in establishing a private practice that allowed them to move toward stability in their finances and their schedule.

By including a Thai Massage practitioner designation, that is NHPC accredited, as well as your 300 Hr RYT, this program allows our graduates to step into a private practice with the ability to issue insurance receipts to the their clients. We also look closely at refining your teaching skills through the arts of yin, restorative and vinyasa yoga and support you in acquiring skills for offering meaningful practices and sequencing for your students.

Dates and Times

The majority of the content for this program is provided for you ONLINE via self-directed study with adjacent live class sessions held one to two times per week each semester. We allow students to enroll in the semester of their choosing and to select the live course times that are most supportive for your time zone. We try to vary our offering times each semester to support ALL of our students! You may begin this course at ANYTIME and join into our live sessions for support. We do ask that you attend at least one live, in person retreat (respecting Covid guidelines) and give you the option to attend more than once should that be helpful for you. Any student who feels uncomfortable attending the LIVE retreat will be given an online course program to complete instead. We do not wish for anyone to feel unsafe and will support your choice fully. Upon registration, you will be given a course calendar with available dates and times for the LIVE sessions over the coming year so that you may navigate your course selections. Stefani, our director of teacher training is the personal mentor for all of our Advanced Training students so she will personally support you every step of the way. 

Our next retreat is scheduled for August 5th to the 8th, 2021 at the Misty Ridge Retreat Centre. Your tuition includes attendance at the retreat and you may choose to add on accommodation and meals. A short drive from Calgary, students may also choose to commute in or to provide their own meals. When travel becomes safe once again, we will resume our travel retreats in the months of September in Spain and March in Hawaii.

Curriculum + Enrollment

Working with senior teachers, this program looks to support you in strengthening your skills as a yoga teacher, while deepening your personal practice. Each cohort is kept small so that you get maximum time for mentoring with Stef. This program seeks to fill any gaps you may have remaining in your previous learning. Stefani personally mentors you through the process, exploring the key themes she has found to be impactful in her 19 years of teaching - offering her feedback, insights and guidance as you practice teach under her tutelage.

Enrollment for this program is offered 4 times each year. You may begin at the onset of any scheduled semester, one is offered for each season: Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer.

Tuition Investment

Tuition for the 300 hour Embodiment Yoga Teacher Training™ is offered via an equitable system called a sliding scale designed to ensure that our programs are accessible to you despite your financial circumstances. At the time of your registration, you will be asked to communicate with our accounts manager the tuition amount that you can afford between the amounts of $4950 and $3350 plus GST. This training includes the Full Thai Yoga Massage Practitioner Training and upon graduation, you will be issued with two certifications - Advanced Embodiment Yoga Teacher™ (300 HR Certification) and Thai Yoga Massage Practitioner (150 hour designation).

We require all students to pay a deposit of $262.50 at time of registration and allow you to arrange a payment plan over the course of 6 to 18 months. Your tuition includes all studio modules, mentor support, course manuals, and lifetime access to video manuals, and our ongoing community support. Your tuition is tax deductible and you will be issued a T2202a form at the start of each tax season.

Your tuition includes the beautiful Prana Sadhana Retreat, held this summer on August 6th to the 9th at the Misty Ridge Retreat Centre, a short 40 minute drive outside of Calgary. Because of Covid-19 this year, we will not be serving meals at the retreat and ask students to provide their own food. Out of town students have the option to purchase shared accommodation at the retreat centre for a small fee of $150. We are looking at options for supporting our out of town students with prepared meals. You can discuss this with Stefani upon registration. Should you feel uncomfortable attending because of Covid, we will be happy to provide you with an alternate study option for you to make up your course hours.
