To my sensitive sisters (and brothers) who are feeling the noise and speed of the world too intensely, this is your place to SLOW DOWN and find the healing available to you within your OWN BODY. Maybe you feel like some part of you has always been a little different and you have struggled with making connections or finding your people or anxiety prevents you from making authentic and meaningful connections. You might feel stuck, struggle with sleep or have difficulty getting on top of your breath . . . Other people's energy might be too intense and it is hard for you to find quiet spaces within yourself and when around others. Or your nervous system is caught in a loop of swinging from intense feeling to intense depletion. You might be recovering from a traumatic event or a lifetime of small traumas that have picked away at your soul. You might feel misunderstood, agitated, lonely, or frustrated or find that it is difficult to find relief from the tension that is stuck in your body. You might describe yourself as an empath, highly sensitive, or neurodivergent, but that part isn't concerning to me. What matters is that I want you to know that the way you feel isn't crazy. You are not crazy. You are simply living in a world that wasn't designed for those of us who need to walk through life more gently. I want you to know, that beneath your discomfort lies a powerful soul patiently waiting to be re-discovered, that your healing can be found through gently coming back to your body, and that there is a world of people who get you, myself included. 

I am a friend who is prepared to hold a safe container for you to reclaim the comfort and ease that is available to you within your body. I am here to support you as you release stuck emotions and tension, to help you find your breath, and rewrite your story. (Our sessions are covered by healthcare plans in Alberta and I am registered as a 2,200-hour Massage Therapist, Certified IAYT Yoga Therapist, and Mindfulness-Based Somatic Therapist. I have been in this guiding role of inviting others into their own embodiment since 2001, but the real value in our work is that as a neurodivergent woman who continues to walk through my own trauma healing, I will show up for you and will dive deeply into our work together with a committed and loving presence. I will go into those places of discomfort with you because I have journeyed there myself and I know the peace and ease that can be found on the other side.
