Therapeutic Massage involves the manipulation of the soft tissue structures of the body to prevent and alleviate pain, discomfort, muscle spasm, and stress; and to promote health and wellness. Massage improves functioning of the circulatory, lymphatic, muscular, skeletal, and nervous systems and may improve the rate at which the body recovers from injury and illness.
Stimulating specific reflex points can bring much needed nutrients to poorly functioning areas of the body and help restore balance throughout the whole body. Massage involves, lengthening & stretching muscle tissue and/or applying pressure to the body unclothed, but fully covered by a sheet and heavy blanket.
Most clients report a profound sense of relaxation and well being that remains with them throughout the week.

Carrie also offers Massage Therapy with Therapeutic Oils as an adjunct therapy. Referred to as the Raindrop technique, it is a non-invasive tool for helping to correct defects in the curvature of the spine caused by viruses and bacteria that lie dormant there.
Antimicrobial essential oils are applied along the spine and bottom of feet to reduce inflammation by killing the viral agents, thus bringing the body into structural and electrical alignment. It is also a helpful aid in building the immune system.
The oils (primarily thyme, oregano, birch, cypress, peppermint, and basil) are poured like little drops of rain from a height of about six inches above the back and massaged along the vertebrae. The kinetic energy of the therapeutic-grade essential oils affect the human body, restoring balance and normal function to weak body systems, and promotes harmony in the whole person.
Since its development in the mid 1980s, Raindrop Technique has been experienced by tens of thousands of people; and for many, its effects have been life-changing.
