200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher Training

The yoga teacher training program at Mandorla Yoga & Wellness is a challenging course that provides you with the necessary tools to excel as a yoga teacher but most importantly it provides you with the tools to face yourself and realize your own unlimited potential.  What makes this training special is that it is tailored to you in a relational, mentoring format! You may start the course at anytime and set a schedule to work with Stefani in an intimate, one on one basis so that the material is thoroughly covered and well absorbed.  The difference this makes for you is exceptional as this gives us the opportunity to explore areas that interest you in greater depth.  We follow the Yoga Alliance guidelines for the information you need to cover for you to become a registered teacher but we then exceed those expectations and tailor the course to your individual needs. The end result is a transformative yoga experience that literally changes your life!

Based out of the Krishnamacharya lineage, the course covers:

the Ashtanga Primary Series

Power Vinyasa Yoga

Anusara alignment principles

Prasara yoga (teaching from your intuition)

Vinyasa Flow Yoga (a fluid form of yoga that works with the stages or kramas of the students and helps them to progress toward a certain goal.)

Anatomy and Physiology

hands on assisting

the art of teaching to beginners, intermediate and advanced students and how to manage a multilevel class

class planning and design for a variety of classes including classes that are themed on the elements earth, water, fire, air and ether

the history of yoga

the Chakras and how they relate to the elements

Ayurveda and Yogic Nutrition

Prenatal Yoga

and so much more . . .

Participants taking the program are required to complete the 100 hour Yoga Course first as it addresses the most important component of being a yoga teacher: having your own personal practice. The teacher training itself is comprised of  an additional 100 hours, making this certificate program a 200 hour course.

Payment Options

1. Cost for this course including both the teacher training and the Yoga Course and practicum is $2700 + HST and may be paid in 3 installments of $900 + HST.  A $400 deposit at time of registration is required.  A $200 discount is provided for those who pay for the course in its entirety at time of registration so tuition comes to $2500.  Cash, Cheque and Paypal are accepted.

2. The Karma Project – If you are unable to pay the full amount for the training, you are still welcome to participate!  Simply email Stef and let her know the amount you can afford.  She will then deduct the amount you are able to pay from the overall course cost and in lieu of the remaining amount you will be given the opportunity to do a community project!  So, if you are only able to pay $2000, the remaining $700 will be converted into a 700 hour community service project.  Don't worry, this does not mean you have to teach 700 yoga classes.  You will be credited for all hours you put into the project from research and networking to travel and the teaching itself.  Yoga is made accessible to you and then you make yoga accessible for someone else . . . its beautiful and its what yoga is about.

At times, the course is offered in a small group format, when this is the case, course graduates are welcome to retake the course at anytime to brush up on their skills, free of charge.

Students are given a welcome package at time of registration along with the required book list which includes a 300 page manual that was written by Stef.  Inquiring students are welcome to email Stef at mandorlayoga@gmail.com to ask for a copy of the full course syllabus.
