We pride ourselves on making our courses accessible to our students by providing you with not just written manuals but video recorded ONLINE classes. This allows you to revisit the material until you get it and provides you with an invaluable resource during your teaching career. Additionally, this format allows you to complete some of your requisite hours from the comfort of your own home. And should you miss a session now and then or even if the course is running at at a time that doesn't work for you, it isn't a problem as all sessions are recorded and you can catch up when you have time to do so.
We believe in deeply respecting the student and honouring what you already know, while perhaps assisting you in remembering something new. Our online courses are taught in a non-dogmatic manner that encourages dialogue, mutual respect and exploration of the course material. Students are encouraged to talk about how they are digesting the information and while ample time is given for lecture and "teachings", we focus on creating thoughtful dialogue that provokes new questions and helps you to explore the practices and put them into your own language.

The Art of Holding Space –
Meditation and Philosophy for Transformative Yoga Sessions
Open both to yoga teachers and curious students.
In this ONLINE course, we apply yoga philosophy and meditation techniques to real life situations. Part sangha and part book club, in a supportive and safe environment, student and teacher agree to an empowering exchange where vulnerability and honesty are encouraged. Each session begins with an insightful question with the opportunity for sharing and reflection while exploring life’s toughest questions. How are you really doing? How do you deal with hurtful people? How do you rebuild or build self confidence and self love? How do you settle your monkey mind? How do you find life purpose? Through exploring powerful yoga texts including the Vedas, Yoga Sutras, Bhagavad Gita and the Radiance Sutras – we explore the same questions that yogis asked thousands of years ago and find ways to apply their meaning in our current world. With meditation techniques stemming from Buddhism and Tantra, students are given countless examples and opportunities for application of the material. This serves as a powerful course for helping you to pull meaning into not just your classes, but your life.
Functional Anatomy and Adaptive Yoga
This ONLINE course establishes the foundations of functional anatomy and adaptive yoga practice. You will learn about the key muscles involved in yoga practice, how to activate them properly and how to adapt asana for the purpose of improving functional alignment and reducing pain. Establishing the foundations of functional anatomy through the lens of alignment based yoga in a regional format, we start at the feet and move our way up through each region of the body; addressing related injuries and common health conditions along the way.
