Mind Body-Focussed Counselling and Yoga Therapy
Kate was introduced to the lineage of yoga when she was in University studying Transpersonal Psychology, Existentialism, and Eastern Meditation practices. After completing her Addictions Counselling degree she started a career in counselling, specializing in working with those impacted by interpersonal violence and trauma who cope with addiction. Over the last 7 years she has studied and practiced counselling using a mind-body focussed approach. With additional trainings in yoga and yoga therapy, Kate has developed a supportive practice for those suffering from addiction or trauma. She is the creator of MYI's course 'Yoga for Anxiety and Depression', and she supports students in MYI's Advanced Yoga Teacher Training in Integrative Yoga.
